HOW TO MAKE A FIRELESS COOKER:.
A basket with its cover,
A black cloth ( cotton ),
A black thread,
A sewing needle and
A polythene paper.
Lay the polythene paper in the basket ,
Use the needle to ensure that it remains on the walls of the basket,
Lay the newspapers to one inch thick,
Ensure they remain on the walls by sewing,
Cover the newspaper with the polythene paper,
Lay the cloth and sew it to ensure it takes the shape of the basket.
Repeat the process to ensure the cover is well made.
Keep it in a cool and dry place ready to use.
How it works:
Lets take an example preparing rice.
Prepare your food until it boils,
Transfer it into your fireless cooker and cover it tight.
Wait for the prescribed time.
Then open the cooker and your food is ready for consumption.
Reasons / advantages:
High costs of charcoal,
High costs of gas,
High costs of kerosene,
To reduce exploitation of forests,
To control climate change and,
To reduce domestic violence.
